Black obsidian veined with forking storm light, cold blue running under the surface like lightning caught mid strike and never let go. The numerals are cut as old inscription style runes, carved down into the faces and lit from within, so the cyan sits at the floor of each glyph and flares when the dice roll. Real recessed geometry, cut into the glass itself rather than laid on the surface. The full polyhedral set, plus a d2 and a d16, all carved to match.

These were struck in a tower where the storm never quite passed. The lightning that hit it went into the stone instead of the ground and has been looking for a way out ever since, forking through the black glass in slow cold branches. The runes were cut by ward keepers who needed every glyph deep enough to hold the charge. Roll them and the old storm stirs.
